US Bans Entry of Students (F-1 and M-1) for Online-Only Classes
US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) just announced that international students won’t be allowed to enter the U.S. if they will take online only courses. However, the students who will attend the schools which offer hybrid online and in-person courses will be allowed to enter.
This ban only applies to new student and does not apply to those international students who are already enrolled in the U.S. schools and are returning to the U.S., even if their school offers online-only courses. This announcement only focuses on new students.
